I've used this hammer more times than I thought I ever would. It's no toy, I tell you. The build quality is excellent, the steel is solid (and shiny, which I like), the hand grip is ergonomic and your hand wraps around it well enough to feel like it becomes part of it. The transfer of force from your hand to the object you're hitting is very efficient and you feel no shocks in your hand due to the design of the grip. Gets you in places where a standard size hammer wouldn't. Just a lovely little tool to have, I've used this hammer quite comfortably in those times when I couldn't find my bigger hammer. Its whether or not you picture hooks are strong enough to handle it. I bought some wall hooks and they weren't up for the job, even though it stated hard wall i found the pins bent or the plastic broke. Hope this is helpful to you **Q: Is it a large size Claw for removing large nails ?** A: It’s large enough to tackle small to medium sizes **Q: Do you know what the size of the hammer is (in cm)?** A: this very well made "claw hammer" is approx. 16.5 cm long X 9cm wide & 2.5cm across. the claw head is a regular size with a useful magnet feature. overall its's a short handle claw hammer = no good for removing long nails as the short handle prevents good leverage. **Q: It say's that it's made from carbon steel, does the steel run all the way through the handle to the end?** A: It's hard to tell. The rubber grip feels solid and relatively heavy, but, the head is much heavier that no matter how I hold it and try to weigh it in my hand the head still feels very heavy. I don't know for sure, but if anything does go all the way through it would have to have a much smaller cross section than the part that shows directly above the rubber handle. If it were this thick then the handle would have been much heavier than it is. I would like to point out though that I've had this since I moved into this new house last September (hence 9 months), I've used it a lot (new house, lots of fixing and hammering to do) and the handle is still very firm.
