You will need to install a driver from the mac.air website to make it work with your Mac. I have been enjoying making my Mac into a touch screen. It might be an idea to put some kind of filter over your Mac screen if you do that, to protect the screen from finger marks and potential finger nail scratches. The one other thing is that the bar that I received was black not silver. **Q: Will it work on a 17.3 “ laptop? LED screen?** A: It will only work on the screen size you buy....but it will work on any type of screen. Its simply sending a infra red signal across screen surface If your finger is in the way it reflects back and it knows where your finger is.
