This means that you can connect a couple of devices at once and it will play the audio from whatever device is playing. I have set it up to my phone and Mac. No need to disconnect and reconnect! Pairing a secondary device is done by pushing the button on top. When Bluetooth devices are out of range, the device goes in to a low power state. No annoying flashing lights or beeps! The Bluetooth version is 3.0 (not mentioned anywhere on packaging, but did my research). It’s a little outdated, but doesn’t impact performance or sound quality. What this means is that the range is limited to 15 meters. Ideally, you need to keep the device within your line of sight. This is just fine for most audio setups. The receiver has a small form factor and sits well amongst my HK speakers and Mac. Audio quality is pretty decent and I haven’t noticed much difference in the quality versus a wired connection. I have used other receivers on the market and they have emitted a static or ticking sound when there is no audio playing. I did not have that problem with this Logitech device. Overall, great performance and value for money. You won’t be disappointed! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ An easy way to update vintage hi-fi to bluetooth *by C***N on 26 October 2025* It takes just a moment to add bluetooth connectivity to an old hi-fi system with this little Logitech box. I connected it up to the AV/Aux ports on the system's amp, plugged it into power, turned it on, pressed the pairing button and straightaway the Logitech adaptor showed up in the bluetooth settings on my iPad. It's that easy. My old hi-fi is still great for hi-end sound quality, and now I can stream music from anywhere to play through the speakers. I had hoped that I might also be able to use it when watching movies, but - as I'd read in some reviews before - it doesn't quite work. The lip sync is a milli-second out, just enough to make actor close ups unwatchable. Still, for audio, the Logitech is perfect.
