From the manufacturer Paint on Porcelain - Pébéo Porcelain 150 can be applied to porcelain, earthenware, as well as to most surfaces that can be heated to 150°C. Glossy or matt, translucent or opaque colours In bottles, tubes or felt pens, the colours can be mixed together. The choice of the support and the tools used allows to play on the effects, the transparency and the intensity of the colours. Superb glazed appearance after firing They are deep and brilliant, translucent or opaque. Multiple types of application are possible with Porcelaine 150: with a brush, a sponge, a stencil... Baked for 35 minutes at 150°C in a domestic oven for dishwasher resistance Porcelaine 150 brings professional enamels within reach of everyone with a generation of colours that can be fixed by simply firing at 150°C, i.e. in any domestic oven. Instructions for use Mix the product with a stick before use. The colours can be applied directly to a surface degreased with alcohol or soapy water. After 24 hours of drying, place the product in a cold oven. Once the temperature of 150°C has been reached, leave to cook for 35 minutes. The colours then take on a real enamel appearance and are dishwasher-proof (as recommended on the label). Only surfaces that are not intended to come into contact with food should be decorated. Nevertheless, migration tests carried out by an accredited laboratory have shown that accidental contact of the decorated areas with food does not represent a health hazard.

Review: Great ceramic paints for use on already glazed white pots - I bought these to personalise some basic cheap ikea white pots that we had bought my daughter for starting university. Realising that probably all the students will have the same I decided to paint hers so they wouldn’t get mixed up. She loves Studio Ghibli so I went with a Totoro and cherry blossom theme. The paints were really easy use and were also mixable. I suggest using a very fine brush. You can easily wipe away any mistakes for a good 10 minutes before it starts drying. Then you leave it to dry fully for 24hours and then to make is useable for eating and dishwashers you bake it in the oven. They’re great! Next the kids plan to do Father’s Day mugs. They’re very good value as the small pots of paint stretch very far! I have hardly used any paint so far.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do you have to bake it?**
A: Yes you do, and gives a finish very shiny !  Very pretty,  just remember to put your china in the COOL oven and then start counting the baking until oven reach the temperature,  leave the china to cool inside of the oven, this is to avoid China cracks for the change of temperature. ... but if you are painting something that is mean for oven could be no problem to pull them out after the baking times is over

**Q: if safe to put back the porcelaine to the oven for only retouching with only those retouching wet areas ?**
A: In my opinion there is no problem putting the porcelaine back in the oven after touch-ups.  Just put the object in a cold oven and set temp and timer asusual.  I let my paint sit for 24 hours before baking.

**Q: Does it wash off skin with soap and water?**

**Q: I want to paint some metal pieces that an old trunk has at the corners, as you can see I cant bake it. Can I use this product for my project?**
A: I only have a guess - My guess would be yes - - it dries pretty permanently on its own, and I have some pieces that I didn't bake and they are still great.  I haven't ever used it on metal, so that I don't know.
