I'm a relatively avid diy-er, and wanted a solid tool box which didn't require endless rummaging around. I use this as a general DIY toolbox which comfortably holds everything I might generally need for the majority of standard tasks, with extra room to chuck in any additional tools, drills, etc. as needed. There are some nice little touches which work really well - tape measure clip, hand saw pocket (I've been using this recently for a square), straps for longer spirit levels, side pockets which can carry bit sets, stud/cable finders, multimeters, etc. very well, along with space for pens/pencils. I've used all of these pockets/areas and they all work well. It is very well built and the base is really solid, which means that it copes well with the weight of tools that are being carried, but also - this doesn't go anywhere or tip over when thrown into the boot of the car. The handle feels completely solid and is a comfortable carry. The shoulder strap is a nice addition too and works well. My favourite thing with this is that it's really easy to see what tools are where, and makes them extremely easy to access. I was always forever rummaging around for a specific tool in old toolboxes, but now everything is easy to find and access. The internal straps are solid and so far, seem to easily hold the vast majority of hand tools in all shapes and sizes. I've had this for about six months now and have given it some fair use in that time, and it still feels pretty much new, so I'm confident that it holds its own. I've seen people in trade using this which was another reason I went for this and it reassured me of its robustness, so hopefully it continues to live up to expectations. In short, I settled on this after a bit of research and I have been pleasantly surprised. It has done everything I'd hoped for and more, and if I ever lost this - I'd buy another. Highly recommended! Review: Outstanding: Initial & Final Impressions - I purchased this bag some time ago in B&Q for £38.00 for a colleague who has trouble 'maintaining' his tools. He has had it now for 3 years and tosses it into his van and has massively over loaded it, be it dusty, it is in as good as condition as it was on day one. So I purchased myself one • Quality is very good considering the price now on desertcart at £25.00 rather than the £38.00 I originally paid which makes this a steal. Stanley has out done themselves in this department. Every corner is riveted and the handle is double riveted. • Very useful, the inside is lined with slots for tools although better suited to smaller hand tools such as pliers. The inside ends have elasticated parts although it is difficult trying to put anything in. One outside end pocket has a strap for securing whatever you put in there. The other side has a pocket and a drill bit holder (useful for putting pencils in) The level holder is also not a gimmick and incredibly handy for fitting a 60cm level in. Outside sides have a tenon saw holder and other side lined with pockets. •Durability- I think this is the main concern when buying any kind of tool holder as it is generally subjected to heavy weight and abuse which mine has certainly been for a prolonged time and it is incredibly strong. •Other brands? I've had Dewalt, C.K, Makita all are much more expensive and they flex and buckle when this has not.
