It is a very comprehensive compilation of all aspects of construction from setting-out and leveling to tiling on the roof , including information on the necessary services . There is a mass of information on structural design and construction . It is very well illustrated and with much detailing . It is a large book with over 1000 pages . This book should be one of the first to be purchased by students of architecture , building surveying and engineering . However , old "soldiers" like me will find it very useful . Excellent book .
