So let's say you normally have them set to come on at 4pm until 10pm and decided to keep them on at the weekend. If at 10pm when they turn off, you click to turn them back on, the next days timer (on) will be 18 hours after they last went off. Rather than coming on at the original 4pm time you set during the week. Great item and I got more than I was expecting in the box, I received the 9 candles with batteries inside as well as new batteries so in all I got 27 items. Review: Surprisingly cute - Lovely little lights with flickering setting as well as constant. Remote control very smart and handy, would be a pain to switch on /off manually each time. Came with batteries already fitted plus extras. The same width as a tea light and about twice as tall. Give off a nice warm light- works well in a tent in place of hazardous candles! They are not super bright, but considerably better than the battery tea lights I have bought before. I went by the reviews, and have not been disappointed. Arrived quickly, good quality and free battery for each light. Worked well with the remote, though you do have to be in range, so if lights are scattered around a room, you have to "click" on each group. I haven't tried the timer yet, but even if it doesn't work, these would still be a bargain.
