Are you sure you want classical guitar strings is the first question you should ask. Acoustic guitar (i.e. jumbo gutars) take steel strings. You have to know what you want accordingly. What they mean by full 'scale' I'm not sure - probably the size of the guitar (full size in this case which, I suspect, is what you want assuming you want classical strings). Contact me agian if you're still not sure. **Q: Are these actually normal tension?** A: Every guitar player develops their preferred string tension over time so there isn't really any such thing as 'normal' tension. As a brand, D'addario strings feel 'heavier' than most brands, hence bringing out better sounds in a half-well-made guitar. Metal D'addarios can enhance acoustics' sound, but at a cost for string-bending players. I bought these nylons for a good (hardening) 30 year old Juan Estruch classical which sounded great to start, the sound is still great or a touch louder. Classical playing does not involve 'bending', the string tension feels a fraction higher but a good guitar neck and nut/bridge action makes it feel absolutely fine - nylon tensions are lower anyway. And they do stretch and settle a bit after a while, after feeling taught when just fitted. Recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great strings *by J***N on 15 July 2013* I have a Valencia guitar, probably the cheapest on the market, and this string brought my experience into another whole new level. Strings are as important as the instrument itself. The bass strings sound very sharp and the all the strings respond very quickly to the strokes. However, their vibrations are a bit exaggerated and making the treble strings to overcome the bass ones is a bit of a challenge. Perfect for Spanish classical genre. I have never heard Asturias (for an example) sounding so powerful and colourful as with these strings.
