Solidly built and works very effectively indeed. Installation was easier than expected. The screws supplied don't look especially robust, but in fact are more than adequate for the job. I did use my own plugs for the fixings as those supplied were very basic. Otherwise the instructions were all pretty obvious and I had it up and running within an hour. The only problem now will be stopping the kids fighting over playing with it - the reel lock is a nice feature! We were a bit shocked by how big the thing looked when it arrived, but now it is in place it looks just fine and is infinitely better than my shabby old reel and coils of hose lying around the place. The price on Amazon is excellent and definitely worth paying for the product. Was particularly impressed with the delivery too - the courier actually bothered to notify us when they were delivering in advance, giving an hour-long window, which they stuck to. Bought it to replace existing hose, as we were too lazy to wind it away and it cluttered up the garden deck, and a bit of a trip hazard to small kids running about.Straightforward to put up with a powerful drill into masonry, took me a little under 30 mins from unboxing to first switch on. Swings freely through 180deg. Auto winding action works perfectly, no problems figuring it out, worked first time. Very effective, big time saver, makes watering a bit less tedious!!Happy with the hozelock quality, I have always bought their stuff. Considerably cheaper on Amazon at the moment that a certain large DIY shed place.I think I got a bit carried away buying the 30m version when I could have got away with the 20m version, however this is not the problem of the product! 30m is obviously quite bulky in terms of the main winding unit so carefully figure out how much you need! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Amazon are amazing! in a good way...But there are issues with the product *by H***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 May 2013* Amazing next day delivery,Good packaging, product intact & complete.Pros.. Great design, everything operates as it should, reel comes & goes exactly as predicted.Cons. The system of connecting to the wall is more difficult (for me anyway) Creating template or taking soft pencil & marking through screw slots seemed easiest. However, this is where the Cons come in...The holes drilled with 7mm bit (as directed) accepted the wall plugs. However, the screws where almost impossible to screw fully into the wall because the hole was not large enough (I put 3 in 1 oil & wd40 on the Plug & screw before screwing into wall)! Also the screws are unusual & VERY soft headed & lost the screw head slots almost immediately I started applying pressure. Eventually I managed to get the screws 'home' (Final part using a hammer, yes, I feel the same... ugly)! Except one that still remain with part of the shank of the screw showing. Also it is worth bearing in mind that they are on show to the whole wide world, as the appliance when fitted does not cover them.Otherwise, all seemed well.. very easy to apply the main body containing the hose etc. good design here. Unfortunately after one use the water was leaking from the bottom of the main body & Hozelock confirmed it had to return to Amazon as you cannot reach the offending fitment. This I where AMAZON& YODEL where amazing, they collected next day, & then 1 day later the new hose was delivered.Have yet to fit & try.. apologies for length of report.
