If you leave the "hook" on the top this is 16cm in depth/width. It is a little difficult to explain depth/width but it is an excellent buy. It comes with a case but unfortunately no carrying handle. Actually, my husband no longer needs it so a bargain if you wish to purchase at 1/2 price plus postage!regardsChristine Payne **Q: Can this drip stand securely hold infusion pumps and syringe drivers on the pole?** A: It can only hold an IV bag, as the bags can hang from the two hooks. **Q: Is the drip stand able to securely hold syringe drivers and fluid pumps on the pole?** A: It can only hang IV bags from the hooks. There is no other area to hold anything. **Q: what is the total hight when fully extended** A: Sorry I don't use mine at present and it is packed away somewhere but going from memory it is something like 6 feet high when fully extended.
