As I only use SD cards infrequently on my PC, I thought a cheap reader would be sufficient. I was pleasantly surprised at how well this reader worked. Out of the packaging and getting a SD card inserted, my Win10 laptop detected it immediately and I was able to copy files to and from the card without issue.I think the build quality exceeds the low price point but if I were a heavy user, I might consider getting different, perhaps larger reader as getting the card in and out is a little fiddly and I'm not sure how well the internal contacts will hold up with heavy usage.
