I use a very thin flexible knife and cut the adhesive away sliding it between the base and latch. It doesnt mark the surfaces or damage the lock/unit. The adhesive is obviously damaged and won't stick but I buy some new double sided adhesive tape and good to go again. **Q: When the instructions say dry cure for 24 hrs is that once youve placed it on the cupboard or before.
