It certainly feels like you could drop your phone repeatedly and you'd be fine. Good lip for screen protection and the camera is kept away from harm.The colour accent it great - required really so that this doesn't seem too monolithic. The texture is also pleasing to the touch.I actually returned this and went for a cheaper, less protective clear case. I am generally careful with my phone (need to touch wood!!) and felt that being SO well made it detracted from the elegance of the lovely new phone. It's a nicely manufactured case, and as fussy as I am, I like it lots. I haven't thrown my phone 20 feet into the air to test it, like some adverts would have us believe we do with our phones, but I feel that with the hollowed out buffer corners my mobile could take a drop without damage under normal usage conditions. It fits the Pixel 7 snugly and doesn't feel like it would come off if thrown at a tree. The camera area that normally sticks out on a pixel 7 is protected by a raised shield around it, negating the need for any further lens protection.
