My only reservation about this one is that they are not that big, even the 'large' size. I have quite small hands and these just fit me. Someone with larger hands would certainly find them too tight I would have thought. ## Features - Fantastic quality guitar picks - World famous brand - Essential for any guitarist - Minimum wear - Made in the usa ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B003B0APDS | | Best Sellers Rank | 3,094 in Musical Instruments & DJ ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments & DJ ) 98 in Picks | | Body Material Type | Plastic | | Brand | Jim Dunlop | | Brand Name | Jim Dunlop | | Colour | Large | | Compatible Devices | Guitar | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 1,426 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00710137019591 | | Guitar Pick Thickness | medium | | Guitar pick thickness | medium | | Included Components | 4 picks | | Item Dimensions | 3 x 25 x 137 millimetres | | Item Type Name | Accordion Accessory | | Item Weight | 0.02 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Jim Dunlop | | Manufacturer Part Number | 9023P | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Name | 25002506004 | | Model Number | 9023P | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 6 | | Set Name | 4 Pack | | Size | Large | | Style | Player Pack 4 picks | | UPC | 710137019591 | | Unit Count | 1 unit | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Jim Dunlop - **Colour:** Large - **Guitar pick thickness:** medium - **Material:** Plastic - **Size:** Large ## Images ![Jim Dunlop 9023P Shell Thumb Large Player Pack (Pack of 4) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71aCTEkEVuS.jpg) ![Jim Dunlop 9023P Shell Thumb Large Player Pack (Pack of 4) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71ElTFxr5XS.jpg) ![Jim Dunlop 9023P Shell Thumb Large Player Pack (Pack of 4) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61RlVd+KYwS.jpg) ![Jim Dunlop 9023P Shell Thumb Large Player Pack (Pack of 4) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81YI9FbADrS.jpg) ![Jim Dunlop 9023P Shell Thumb Large Player Pack (Pack of 4) - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71OQH3zRnpS.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Pattern, Size, Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Are these suitable for a ukelele player with aguilar nylon strings? thanks** A: After using them on metal guitar strings as well as nylon, I can say that I much prefer using them on nylon strings. The dire scraping you get with metal strings put me off using them with my electric. This sound completely vanishes on nylon strings on for example your ukelele. I would personally that they are suitable :) **Q: Can you use these to play rythmn.** A: You could but it would sound rather harsh. These are more suited to finger picking. **Q: what are the dimensions** A: This is not a simple question to answer.First it depends on which size pick you are using, medium or large. I have tried both. The best one for me is the large and it still feels a little too small. To answer your question I have measured the pick in its parts which is shaped like the letter P.The large size has a total length of its up right as 1.1/4 ". The internal upright part of the P is 7/8". the horizontal part of the top of the P is 1/2" The broadest width of the 'tang' of the P is 9/16" This might all be difficult to follow but I have tried my best to give an answer. In brief I would say that in spite of it being the largest available, it still seems too small to fit around my thumb and I am not a big man.Hope this helps. **Q: I have thicker, short fingers. Are these suited to my sausage-like appendages?** A: I would think that as long as you buy the biggest size you should be ok ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good 👍 *by S***N on 28 March 2026* I have tried these kinds plectrums before and didn't get on with them, I seam to be playing a lot better with these 1s good luck 👍 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good - but large could be larger. *by S***O on 1 April 2017* I like thumb picks generally as they feel much more secure than a standard one.
