Review: Light sticks, the grip works, work well for light at home practice. - These are used for practice on an electric kit. Ordinarily I might not go for sticky sticks... but the requirement within the house was for grip not risk! Some of the sticky has come off after some use, but I find them easy and nice to use for practice. Would I use them for gigging? Maybe. Obviously they're lighter sticks and aren't going to work well for medium/heavier styles. Very happy with them over all, and I'd buy them again for my particular light use case. Five stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the difference between the rebound stick and the forwards?**
A: As said above the taper size is different between the two with The Rebound being longer but the rebound 7a pop off the drums and symbols a lot better for a more controlled sounding drum roll and hat hat fills...The Forwards are for more of a power drumming style while the Rebound is for more of a finesse/Agilitized style of drumming... I’m a Rebound 7a guy and have no intention of ever using another type of stick other than these Promark active grip Sticks... They are amazing

**Q: Are these the lightest sticks available?**
A: Probably not but I will say that they are very light.

**Q: Acorn tip?**
A: Yes, these sticks have an acorn shaped tip on them. They sound good! You can see what I'm talking about here - https://musicalpros.com/beginners-guide-drum-sticks/ On that page they show you what various tips look like.

**Q: Why does the description say 5B, but the photos show 5A?**
A: The 5B are a tad thicker and heavier. I use both, the 5A seem faster after using 5B’s. 
I like them both. The clear are same as the black. Same feel and “stickyness”.

These sticks wear on your hand a lot more compared to normal wooden sticks. obviously they don't slip out your hands as much, but when your hands begin to sweat on them they begin to feel strange, and definitely start to mash your hands up. also the coating rubs off as you play, but so far i haven't seen any visible damage on the stick. they are okay for short bursts but definitely harder to use for longer periods compared to normal wooden sticks. Good size and weight, just not for me. I'm sure someone would like them.
