It stops the flow of the sweat onto my clothes which gives me back some confidence that I'm not just a big sweaty mess. I've found that while I'm playing badminton the head band will last around two games before needing to dry out a little. I usually take it off and use my towel to dry it in-between games. I also have a second one which when used to alternate gives me enough protection from the dreaded sweat tsunami for the two hour session. Towards the very end of the two hours it will start to let some through but not enough to worry. I used to get comments such as "you look like you've been swimming" due to the amount of sweat cascading from my head onto my t-shirt, but now I wear my headband and if anyone asks I tell them I'm in a 90s boy band tribute act. It’s lightweight and comfortable and does the job and a really good price. It’s a little smaller than I expected but I would buy again. Been washed loads of times and still as good as new.
