I have only used the black to refill a 301 cartridge in my HP 3055a but the print quality is rich and easily comparable to the original HP cartridges at a fraction of the cost. The black cartridge takes 5 ml and there are 100 ml of ink in the bottle, which lets say cost £3... that works out at 15p per cartridge! Compared to £10 - £13 for an HP original, that is a HUGE saving. The only thing I would add is, you need to already have the syringes to get the ink into the cartridges AND a way of pulling the ink through the print nozzle to prime it. I bought these separately for around £5. Very happy with my purchase. Review: Good product - Epson have shown how to go with printers they seem to have realised that people were using after market ink supply units so rather than fight this they built it into there printers with the result that ink can be purchased at a fraction of the price of cartridges.
