It is brownish in colour but that is natural cloves which are anti bacterial. Made of only herbs and natural sources, Vegan/Vegetarian, no chemicals and free from any harmful ingredients. I noticed just after a few used that it's made sucha healthy difference to my teeth and gums. Other toothpastes have made my gums bleed, but no blood after using this even the first time. This toothpaste and brand Patanjali - Swami Ramdev ji is brilliant and who brought authentic Hindu Yoga to the West from India where Yoga was born. Patanjali brand is highly recommended. Their products are all natural and they actually CURE things, not just put them to sleep or mask them temporarily. It's no wonder the large companies and medicals fear and are threatened by this brand. Using Patanjali cures issues, so no money to be made by large corporations that rely on illnesses to make money.
