## Description

Auction Description

Review: Brilliant putty for a multitude of repairs - Brilliant stuff. I have used this multiple times for many different applications. Once to create a mount on uPVC doors for alarm sensors, once to fix a stone birdbath, to fix the plastic bodywork on my motorbike, to fix a cracked uPVC windowsill. Each time it was easy to use, adhered well to the item being fixed and was plyable for long enough to be moulded without issue. It's very durable. Easily as hard as concrete; doesn't flake and can be sanded or even painted. I would say that reviews complaining of it not hardening properly have likely not mixed it thoroughly enough. You must mix it like bread dough in your hands for 10 minutes. Don't think "that'll do" after only a minute. It's a two part epoxy putty (often also called builder's putty) and the chemicals in the two putty sticks must be thoroughly mixed to activate the hardening process. Also, wear disposable gloves. It can be a pain to wash off your hands and get out from your nails.
Review: Bonds to UPVC really well if surface is roughened a bit. Easy to use. Hard to get perfectly flat. - Used to repair a UPVC Back Door that was damaged by a break in. This was a great solution after thinking the door would need replacing as it had been jemmied open. There was significant denting and tearing to the edge of the door in the lock area. Using a Dremmel I was able to cut and grind away the jagged bits and then use the putty to mold into the distorted and missing frame areas. I'm no craftsmen so it wasn't a perfect finish but the door went from being clearly broken in to hardly noticeable unless inspected closely. Great stuff and at the price an amazingly cost effective solution. Easy to prepare and use and tidy up. Can be sanded and ground down once hardened and presumably there are paints that could match it up to the glossier upvc but I didn't bother as its close enough in my opinion. Highly recommend.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Hi there, is this any good for ceramic bathroom wash basin repairs?**
A: It is. I have repaired a chipped basin and a ceramic kitchen sink which both had chips through the glaze layer. Ensure the repair area is free of any grease first, then just mix and apply. Use a bit more than you need so that the whole area is covered, leave to fully cure [24 hours] and then use a fine file to shape the repair area back down to the original level. Colour match depends on the shade of white of the ceramic, but it is white. You could possibly use some form of lacquer paint to get an invisible match.

**Q: I have a chipped upvc brilliant white table will this work well? Does it need gloss varnish over it ?**
A: Yes, the putty is bright white, and adheres well to uPVC. Ive used it to fill screwheads in uPVC cladding, needed no further coating.

**Q: Would this be ok for a crack in a resin water fountain**
A: I'd say it's too thick for a crack. A crack would be better repaired with something more liquid like a two part resin mix or maybe a waterproof glue.

**Q: Will milliput fill a indent on my caravan .**
A: I would not use milli put for body repairs. As an experienced caravan and car owner I would prefer to use conventional filler. The movement and flexing of your van in transit would soon loosen a non-flexing filler.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A gloriously sticky little miracle
*by S***D on 13 April 2026*

Milliput quietly brilliant—you end up reaching for it more than you expected. It starts off satisfyingly sticky—ideal for actually gripping what you’re fixing—then sets rock hard and, crucially, waterproof. Splendid for anything from chipped ceramics to outdoor repairs. The texture is smooth enough to shape without a wrestling match, and the white colour dries clean bright white. And the value? Remarkable. A small pack that seems to fix half your life before it runs out—Practical and dependable.
