Review: Excellent swing perch for my African Grey--but due to lack of info got wrong sizes so other birds can't use it. - This is an excellent swinging perch for your birds if you manage to get the right size. I really wish there was information that included examples of what kinds of birds were best for the different sizes. I used to have the rectangle shaped one but it is hard to find now in the size suitable for our African Grey named Kookoo. the screw that holds it up starts unscrewing and every few months I have to remember to screw it back all the way in... well, I forgot and a household member found it at the bottom of the cage and threw it away thinking it was broken. Kookoo just loved it so I started looking for a replacement. The rectangle shaped one was also made by the same company so when I saw this I hoped our Kookoo would end up liking this as well. I ended up ordering the medium hoping to use it with our Indian Ringnecks and then a large for Kookoo to use. The large size one is HUGE. Way too big for our African Grey. It would be best for the large desertcart parrots. The medium size is perfect for KooKoo as you can see in the video. It did take Kookoo a good month before he would get on it though... as with many African Greys, he was so scared of this new thing invading his personal space. Normally if Kookoo is on this, he gets off of it as I approach him (he loves attention) so I had not been able to get a good video of him on it. I had actually given Kookoo a shower today and he was angry with me. I noticed he would not get off of the Swing N-Feet even while I was right at his cage so I whipped out my phone and finally go it on video :)
Review: Congo African Grey Parrot - Large Perch Perfect - Received this yesterday for my African Grey! Perfect to hang in outside patio, in front of a window, or where ever you can put a hook. Doesn’t come with a long chain, has short chain and clip. I quickly fixed up an arts/craft soft rope and wooden macramé thing to hang with. This perch pretty much keeps its shape, is soft, and plenty big enough for a full grown Congo African grey. I was a little worried about medium being too small and the large being too big. I think it’s perfect size and looks beautiful on my outside patio.

**Q: what size is good for a red lord yellow cheek parrot**
A: I have a blue and gold macaw and the large size works.  I am not familiar with the red lored yellow cheeks but if they are about 10-12 inches then the medium should work. I personally would prefer to go a little larger so as to provide more play area.

**Q: What are the dimensions of the large one?**
A: My Amazon records show that I purchased the large about a year ago for my African Grey.  It is approximately 13 inches in diameter and the rope itself is approximately 1 inch in diameter.  I wrapped it in short lengths of twine (tied tightly) to increase its "durability" since my Grey is always chewing and it's still going strong.  It is interesting that they have a picture of a Blue and Gold on their ad.  It seems a little small for a Macaw.  Hope this helped.

**Q: What size is medium? large too big for amazon parrot. big enough for african gray.**
A: I have a Blue & Gold McCall and a medium would be too small. I got a large for my bird and it's just right size.

**Q: Can't figure out why the seller doesn't list the diameters of each size. Can anyone tell me what the outside diameter is on the medium size? Thanks**
A: I just went outside and measured for you.  The medium ring is 10 inches across.  The hole in the middle is 7 7/8 inches across.  I use these outside for the wild birds.
