Its breathable mineral formula ensures durable, healthy walls with easy application. ## Description Keim BioSil is a ready-to-use silicate-based paint for indoor use according to DIN EN 13 300 (meets the requirements according to DIN 18363 para. 2.4.2 silicate emulsion paints). Area of application: For all interior wall and ceiling surfaces, e.g. in offices, bedrooms, kitchens, etc. Keim BioSil is particularly suitable for sensitive areas such as hospitals, nurseries, or schools and is also suitable for rooms in which food is stored. Highly absorbent or sanded surfaces are to be pre-treated with Keim Soliprim. When covering plasterboard surfaces or surfaces with areas of plaster filler with white paint, a primer coat of Keim Grundierweiß is beneficial. Do not use Keim Grundierweiß on pure plaster. In this case, we recommend a coat of Keim Ecosil-Me or Keim Optill. Surfaces with salt efflorescence, paint, and wood are unsuitable. Product properties: does not contain added solvents or plasticisers, permeable, ecologically flawless, abrasion-resistant, low tension, high covering power, non- flammable, harmless to foodstuffs, mould-resistant because the mineral paint is highly alkaline, suitable for people who suffer from allergies. Preparation: the base surface must be stable, dry, clean, dust and fat-free. Pre-treat problematic base surfaces, e.g. highly absorbent surfaces, clay plaster, etc. Keim BioSil can be applied with a brush, roller or sprayed. When applying a second coat of paint, an interval of 6 hours is required. Base coat: dilute 10 litres of Keim BioSil with maximum 1 litre of water. Final coat: apply Keim BioSil undiluted. When applying 2 coats of paint on smooth base surfaces, you need approx. 220 ml Keim BioSil per square metre (approx. 4.5 m²/l). When applying 1 coat of paint on smooth base surfaces, you need approx. 110 ml per square metre (approx. 9 m²/litre). Keep out of the reach of children. Protect your eyes and skin from splashes. Take the necessary measures to protect the surfaces that are not to be treated. Use plenty of water to Immediately dissolve and remove any splashes on surrounding surfaces.
