The knives are slightly weighted toward the blade, with very thin handles. As a novice thrower, I can stick 3 for 3 about half the time. Great to spin throw. The axes are also thin, solid steel, with a comfortable grip. They have a quality look and feel. Again, very easy to "stick," even for a novice thrower.
