What a difference! The simple explanations and clear examples helped me understand quickly. I was able to make sentences and ask questions within the first few days of using it. The online materials are a great help too. As you'd expect, there's audio for all the examples of course, but there are also exercises, videos and quizzes. I was so impressed by how quickly I made progress, I decided to buy more books by the same authors. I've since been learning to read Thai as well, and it's a lot of fun reading the Thai script in this book while still having the romanised phonetic to help out. If you're a beginner or a false starter like I was, then I can't recommend this book enough.
