## Description

The book light is a Brand New model of Hooga's best-selling, non-blue light emitting clip-on reading light. This light offers ultra dim settings for those that need minimal brightness. Choose between amber and red settings. Red will have ZERO blue light emission. Before the days of smartphones, LED TVs, and bright fluorescent lighting, our ancestors would spend their evenings reading and socializing over firelight or candlelight. Amber light such as candle light contains extremely low levels of blue spectrum light. The problem with blue spectrum light is that it is especially effective at signaling the body to wake up, be alert, and stay awake. In the evenings, particularly after the sun sets, we need to limit our exposure to blue light. The Hoogalite emits only 0.06% of its light from the blue light spectrum in amber mode, or ZERO blue light in red mode, encouraging the body’s natural secretion of melatonin to promote a more restful, deep night of sleep like our ancestors used to experience. With a 1200mAh lithium ion rechargeable battery, you’ll have up to 30 hours of sleep friendly, amber hue light to enjoy on a single charge. Don’t be fooled by other reading lights boasting longer battery life, either, as those exaggerated times are based on 10% power settings. This Hoogalite offers three color settings, and a stepless, gradual brightness adjustment. A flexible, 7-inch gooseneck allows you to customize your lighting experience and cast a gentle, amber hue in any direction you please. This can be especially useful when reading in bed with a partner, so as to not disturb them while they sleep. The Hoogalite weighs just 2.5 ounces and can be rolled up and packed conveniently into a purse, briefcase or travel bag for use on the go. So grab a book, turn down the overhead lights, clip on the Hoogalite and rest assured that you’re doing your circadian rhythm, your sleep, and your overall health a huge favor!

## Features

- CIRCADIAN RHYTHM, LIGHT & SLEEP:Our night reading light emits your choice of amber or red light. 1600K amber light is 99.94% free of blue spectrum light, while 625nm red light is 100% free of blue light. At night, it is important to limit our exposure to bright white light to allow the production of melatonin, which allows us to fall asleep faster and have a more restful and restorative night's sleep. Our light is perfect for nighttime use without disturbing your circadian rhythm.
- Light and easy to travel: our blue light blocker for books is not only suitable for sleeping, but also suitable for travel as it is lightweight and portable. It weighs only 70g, making it almost unnoticeable when attached to a book or e-Reader, and it has a strong and resistant grip to ensure the light stays where it is cut. Easily fits into a bag, purse or briefcase and is perfect for reading on airplanes, in bed, in the car, camping and more!
- Reading in Bed at Night: Our book light allows you to read in bed at night without disturbing your sleep, your baby's sleep, or your partner's sleep. The reading light features a flexible 360 degree gooseneck that allows you to create the perfect reading space and position the light exactly where you need it. Our light is also great for waking up at night to care for children or babies without interrupting their sleep cycles. 3 color options allow for a personalized lighting experience!
- Extra long battery life: our book light comes equipped with an industry-leading 1200 mAh lithium battery, which is the largest among all clip-on reading lamps on the market. You can forget to buy batteries and replace them all the time with our book light, since all you have to do is turn it on and recharge it. Features an extra long-lasting battery and comes with a USB-C cable of 90 cm included!
- US COMPANY & CUSTOMER SERVICE: Hooga is a small business located in the United States with friendly and helpful customer service that is here to help you in case something goes wrong with your purchase or you have any questions.
