It looks super cool on the ground and in the air. True 3D enthusiasts would say it's too heavy. It is heavier than my other 3D planes BUT my super light planes require verry still air to enjoy flying. This plane will hover, knife edge and invert as easy as any 3D plane I own and can be flown in less-than-ideal conditions. It will also fly like a traditional sport plane reasonably well. It has massive rudder, aileron and elevator authority. It's great for flying in small places, you can hand launch and land this unit in a single parking spot. It is not a fast plane, and the flight time is a little short but will do a 10-minute+ flight using 850ma 3S pack if throttled conservatively. Using a 2S pack would fly but not ideal. Review: Super Fun - If you are new to Flying RC or maybe you want to get into 3D flying this is a great plane. Make sure you get the proper batteries with the IC2 connectors or the proper adapter. Flys great with both a 650mah and 850mah batteries. Also I would recommend grabbing some Foam Safe CA or glue or tape. It’s a great little plane but of course if your 3ding you may crash. ## Features - The easiest to buy, assemble and fly flat foamy model yet – capable of slow cruising, sport flying, basic and all-out 3D aerobatics - Specially tuned brushless motor that’s factory-installed and ready for use with popular 3S 600–850mAh batteries - 15-amp Spektrum Avian Smart ESC provides real-time battery voltage, RPM, and other data via compatible receivers and transmitters - Spektrum AR630 receiver with fly-by range telemetry and industry-leading DSMX technology - Fast and easy assembly, unlike similar class models – no glue or tape required ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BPJRVN8H | | Additional Features | Portable | | Age Range Description | 14+ | | Battery Description | Lithium-Ion | | Brand Name | E-flite | | Color | Red | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 109 Reviews | | Educational Objective | To teach users about model airplane construction, flight dynamics, and basic electronics and mechanics | | Included Components | Eratix 3D FF (Flat Foamy) 860mm BNF Basic with AS3X and SAFE Select | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Outdoor | | Item Dimensions | 39.75 x 13.13 x 8.88 inches | | Item Type Name | Airplanes (B&F), Electric | | Item Weight | 2.66 kg | | Manufacturer | Horizon Hobby | | Manufacturer Part Number | EFL01950 | | Manufacturer recommended age | 14 months and up | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Name | Eratix 3D FF (Flat Foamy) 860mm BNF Basic with AS3X and SAFE Select | | Model Number | EFL01950 | | Number of Batteries | 1 Nonstandard Battery batteries required. | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Players | 1 | | Operation Mode | remote control | | Power Source | Battery Powered | | Size | 100.97 centimeters | | Theme | F1 | | Toy Vehicle Form | Airplane | | UPC | 605482162873 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Images ![Eratix 3D Flat Foamy 860mm BNF-Basic EFL01950 Airplanes B&F Electric - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71ZBOCtzPOL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fun to fly! *by A***Y on March 15, 2024* This is a great all-around plane. Has its own flight characteristics, so don't fly it low like your normal cruiser until you get used to the way it flys. I used some packing tape on nose so it wouldn't dent if it hit anything. Also changed the wheels to a slightly larger plastic size for my landing area. ## Frequently Bought Together - E-flite Eratix 3D FF Flat Foamy 860mm BNF Basic with AS3X and SAFE Select EFL01950 Airplanes B&F Electric - Spektrum 11.1V 850mAh 3S 30C Smart G2 LiPo Battery: IC2, SPMX8503S30 - Spektrum Adapter, 6": IC3 Battery/IC2 Device, SPMXCA320, 1 Count (Pack of 1) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/497608449-eratix-3d-flat-foamy-860mm-bnf-basic-efl01950-airplanes-b](https://www.desertcart.at/products/497608449-eratix-3d-flat-foamy-860mm-bnf-basic-efl01950-airplanes-b) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
