The film in summary is McQueens final race journey- he is getting old and is being outdone by the newer smarter faster cars just like we see on the roads today. He takes some different and unique approaches to train for the big ‘last’ race and is joined by cruize and mac (with the old cast making an appearance too!!) New characters and a little social observation about gender equality, I loved it. Some reviewers missed Mater in this movie, but Mater makes a more than adequate appearance in 3 and is also critical to the plot direction.
