Are you travelling for a very long period of time with temperature-sensitive medicine? The iCool MediCube is the product of choice to keep your medications between 2 to 8°C for up to 26 hours*. Flying can be stressful, especially when travelling with temperature-sensitive medicine as the wrong environment can be seriously problematic. For example, if medicine becomes too cold, it can thaw and become dangerous to consume. The medication can ensure this situation is avoided. The iCool MediCube includes two refreezable gel packs which keep the bag cool. These are also sold separately for when you need a spare. With two convenient carry handles, the MediCube is easily portable. It's ideal for carrying pens, syringes and vials with its spacious internal storage compartment of 17 x 14 x 7cm. You no longer need to be restricted by your medication as the MediCube gives you the freedom to travel wherever you want. Dimensions: External dimensions are 20cm (width) x 20cm (length) x 16cm (height) and weighs 2.25 kgs. Gel pack dimensions are 14.5cm (width) x 18.5cm (length) x 3.5cm (height) and weighs 856 grams each. We highly recommend you do at least one trial run before your journey to make sure you are confident in using the bag. **Q: Someone has commented saying the measurements are wrong. Please confirm internal measurements & space left for medicine when ice packs are also inside**
A: Thank you for your question. The cavity size is 9cm (width) x 18cm (length) x 14cm (height) which can fit up to 18 standard injection pens inside. This is the space inside the bag with the cold packs inside. Many thanks.

**Q: The medactiv medicube medicine & insulin travel case (2 - 8°c), with 2 re-freezable gel packs,  can pass the heathrow airport security?**
A: Yes, it will pass, but you must follow some simple rules: 1. You will need a letter from your doctor/consultant (whoever issues your medication) to say you are carrying medication. 2. The cube must be carried in your hand luggage. 3. Gelpacs must be frozen. 4. Keep the letter to hand to show customs. (We declared the letter to the officer and asked if they wanted to see it). Hope all goes well.

**Q: Does this come with Gel Packs**
A: Yes. It comes with two ice packs, they fit in the bag and probably take up about 50% of the volume of the bag.

**Q: Hi with the gel packs do I put them in the fridge or the freezer before flying?**
A: The cold packs must be properly frozen beforehand for at least 14 hours.

So I use Humira, a fridge-stored medication. Summer of 2021 brought me some work out in Tokyo for the Olympic games. My sixteen hour trip from London to Tokyo, door to door, was a cause of some concern in terms of keeping the medication chilled. This product worked better than I expected, with the ice packs still being solidly frozen when I got to my hotel, in the midst of a hot Tokyo summer with all the messing around at the airport. No complaints at all - five stars.
