The best instructions are on youtube. **Q: Does it work for inline skates bearings?** A: Most inline and roller skate wheel bearings are the standard 608 size, with an 8mm bore, a 22mm diameter, and 7mm wide (open, sealed or non-serviceable and shielded) used for inline skates, scooters, skateboards and some quad speed skates. So I’d say yes. **Q: Does it actually come with the cleaner or is it just a container to use?** A: It's just a plastic bottle. It has a leaflet with some recommendations. You can go to any hardware store. E.g. B&Q and get some methylated spirits to clean the bearings. This bottle essentially simplifies the cleaning process. An axel and spacers let's you separate the bearings which is handy when your shaking the cleaning fluid around. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Quality and Easy to Use. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 3 April 2022* Given that BONES are the best skate bearings on the market, you’d expect nothing less from the kit the supply to clean them. This bearing cleaner is of the highest standard with everything thought of and catered for. After all, in reality it’s a plastic bottle with a threaded metal shaft holding a wing nut and some spacers…. However, BONES have managed to knock the ball out of the park with a product you would usually consider to be ordinary and not worth manufacturing to a high standard, by going the extra mile to equip you with something that you’ll likely only buy once in your lifetime, it’s robust, made extremely well from the highest standard of materials, and it bears the BONES logo that not only sets you apart from those using the generic bearing cleaners, it shows that you mean business when it comes to how you decide to maintain your bearings and approach your skating. This product is highly recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exactly what it says *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 15 March 2014* Excellent product. The price may seem a bit high but it does the job well. Would defiantly recommend this for making the job easier and less messy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Makes life less messy. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 16 June 2020* Excellent for cleaning bearings without the fuss. A bit on the expensive side for what it is. ## Frequently Bought Together - Bones Skate Bearings Cleaning Unit - Bones Speed Cream Skate Bearing Lubricant - SONIC Citrus Skate Bearing Cleaner, Cleans Inline Skate, Roller Skate and Skateboard Bearings, Earth friendly, 8 oz, Made in USA --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/49923582-skate-bearings-cleaning-unit](https://www.desertcart.at/products/49923582-skate-bearings-cleaning-unit) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
