Review: Massive improvement in DAB signal fitting this antenna - Replacing my old glass mounted DAB whip antenna as well as the standard AM-FM roof antenna with this single antenna made a huge difference. The signal on the old DAB antenna was awful, dropping out all the time. Switching to this antenna the signal is rock solid where it used to be constantly dropping out before. The AM signal seems to be good for Radio Caroline on 648 MW in here northern Lincolnshire and the FM seems ok too, although the DAB is the main boost. I have fitted it in a Mk1 Vauxhall Insignia. A point to note with this is that the old antenna had a square roof hole which is slightly bigger than the base thread of the new antenna so no drilling required. I have put extra grease under the base as not sure how well it will seal otherwise. It is sitting flush so hopefully will keep the water out. Very happy with the difference and can enjoy listening to DAB now unlike before unless in a really strong signal area. Review: Should have bought this years ago - Brilliant, easy to install and works without any drop outs. I have struggled to get a decent signal with the stick on screen aerial type. With this aerial I can get good signal in rural areas without a problem. Re-scanned stereo and managed to find a whole bunch of new stations. Hole in roof is square and airiel base comes with adaptor for round or square hole. Fits perfectly and looks excelent. Have not connected to radio yet so cannot comment on that but airiel and wiring looks good quality. Would reccomend Eightwood put something in the description for the airiel and in the instructions about the hole adaptor as this is a realy good feature and you only realy no when you receive and can have a proper look at it.
