I was amazed at how quickly I was able to execute the stitches with accuracy and confidence. 1. written by the most expert in crewel work in the country 2. the instructions are precise , concise, perfectly executed 3. beautifully illustrated 4. bound on a spiral ring with hard cover, so that the page you require will stay open and flat, while you refer to it as you work 5. It takes you through design. I for one will never buy another iron on pattern. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well illustrated lots of photos and great advice *by C***Y on 18 February 2019* I have a couple of other RSN books in the series, this one is equally informative. I like the fact that they start with the details of which materials to use, otherwise I wouldn't have a clue. Followed by 6 photos for each stitch showing each stage of the stitch along with some great photos of completed examples of what can be designed and stitched. It makes it very easy to teach oneself (having said that I am going on the 2-day intermediate Jacobean Crewelwork course this weekend at Hampton Court, always best to have someone telling you where you are going wrong and the little tricks to getting it right).
