It appears to be either very poorly translated or written by a non native English speaker. Overall, study using the Sybex Solutions Architect book and the Certified Developer course from ACloudGuru (available on Udemy). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Good content but needs an editor *by D***R on Reviewed in the United States on December 22, 2017* I wanted to give the book three stars but decided to give it four stars because the good it does outweighs the main issue.I have a client who has invested heavily in AWS.The client is giving our team a grace period to get certified on AWS at the Developer Associates level.I have been a user of AWS for years but needed a formal guide to make sure I could pass the certification exam.This book was one of the first on the market for developers.First the good:The book is comprehensive with respect to the overall architecture of AWS and its core services: VPC, S3, EC2, SNS, SQS etc.It covers some of the developer tools at a high level, AWS SDK, AWS CLI, etc.It gives a good grounding in how AWS works as a system of systems.I believe the depth and breadth of topics was sufficient for identifying further areas of study, for example, YAML/JSON templates, SWF, etc.Now the bad:The book desperately needed an editor for grammar and syntax.Technically, it was sound.
