Not a lot of height. Mine compresses quite a bit but does feel like I’m boosted ever so slightly. Not enough to make a huge difference. I am a big guy though so a lighter person may get a little more height out of it **Q: This one is okay, but not great. It compresses a lot when you sit on it. The seat cushion is made of 100% pure memory foam, the thickness is 3.15 inches. As it is a new product, we will continue to improve it and make much thicker. **Q: Is this chair pad suitable for heavy people?** A: I’m a big guy, 6”6’ and 265lb and it has help my tailbone pain quite a bit. It does compress considerably but seems to offer just enough cushion that it helps. Absolutely no support, even for my 47kg son. It's certainly not 3.5" thick, no structure, and not what is on the pictures of the good reviews.
