What size would you recommend, if any?** A: That depends on a number of factors: 1. The height of the top of the radiator from the floor. Ideally, the top of the radiator should sit behind the horizontal strip between the latticework and the long narrow vents at the top. I had to raise the cover over one radiator off the floor as the rad. was mounted higher than usual on the wall. 2. Internal dimensions of the cover should be wide enough to cover the radiator plus valves. Owing to space restrictions, the sides of my most recent radiator cover have to sit between the radiator and the valves. This necessitated cutting slots towards the bottom of each side to accomodate the pipework. 3. There is a cutout for the skirting board on each side. This might have to be cut larger if you have particularly deep skirting boards. So although I am very pleased with the quality of the recent purchase, owing to the age of my house, I have had to modify each cover to fit. **Q: Does this stop the radiator letting out the same amount of heat?** A: Its has not affected the heat distribution at all in our house and we have them on all the radiators down stairs. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality of materials impressive. *by S***0 on 4 May 2025* Arrived quickly and was undamaged. This radiator cover is easily the best self assembly piece of furniture I've ever bought. What impresses principally is the quality of the MDF used, the fit of each part and the great paint finish. In addition the instructions are concise and the screws and plugs are supplied in individually numbered small packs making it almost impossible to mix them.
