To be fair, the laptop is a 12 year old Win 8 original thing and shouldn't really be working at all with Win 11, but it does. My wife has an identical laptop running Win10 and the xD reader on that has stopped working too. That's windows 'progress' for you. However, I still have a shedload of xD cards with loads of pictures still on them. I find my Fujifilm F20s easy to use and the pictures are still ok, useful for eBay, meter readings, leaving in the car, etc. and, if I drop them, it won't be a disaster. I doubted an USB reader like this one would work but I'm pleased to say it was a simple plug'n'play installation to get to the picture files again in windows explorer. One of my better buys!
