When i bought it I did so specifically because it was to have had separate subwoofer rca outputs. It did, but on closer inspection it was just rca's tied into the rear rca outs. No separate sub controller in the radio. I used a cheap loc for awhile and that worked ok, switched to an AudioControl LC7i and I hated that. This thing you only need one set of rca's coming from your headunit, doesn't matter if they are front or rear and from there your options are almost limitless. You can run multiple amps for your high's lows and mids all separately. It has 6 output channels and you can split off of those coming out as well. You can assign each channel to play a specific frequency, you can also clone the even channels so the odd next to it will play the same. Each channel has it's own eq built in as well.
