## Description

If there is a whistle (feedback effect), first reduce the power of the microphones, adjusting the corresponding potentiometers with a screwdriver, until an acceptable level is reached. If the hissing sound persists, adjust the speaker volume to eliminate the problem. If the volume is too low, increase the speaker knob first and then the microphone knob, keeping in mind that clear, noise-free reception is better than reception just before the whistle (feedback). Exclusion of call confirmation on the outside station (B) The confirmation tone can be excluded by turning the switch to OFF. IMPORTANT NOTE 1) Before replacing the handset, write down the wires from each terminal on the existing unit (an easy way is to cut each core leaving a piece of insulation in place with visible color) twist the unused cores together (so you know they're not in use, don't short them). 2) Some older systems will have a cable with a colored core and a solid white core in this case, mark each core with a marker or tape. 3) Some systems may have loop wiring, you will have 2 cables in your handset (make sure there are joints left, as they can be used by other systems as they can service other apartments in the system).

**Q: Does it come with installation instructions?**
A: Yes, it comes complete with instructions which are on the box.  (If replacing an existing intercom system like for like it will take no more than 5 mins to install) I have never fitted one, brought this model for my daughter as a straight replacement, installed it in a matter of minutes.

**Q: Please can you provide detailed instructions to increase the volume of the ringer. I am unable to hear if someone dials.**
A: There is a switch on the bottom which has three levels , very loud to low

**Q: Hello, Is it gonna work If I replace it with my existing intercom having 8nos of wires? Thanks**
A: Yes very easy to change just do one wire a t a time , it looks the same as old try not to touch other wires when removing each wire , take your time .
I changed mine in ten minutes.

**Q: Silly question. Do I need to turn off any electricity before installing this? Not sure where the switch would be located if so**
A: There is no need to turn the electrical supply off as it is just a case of disconnect the old one and replace with the new. I recommend taking a picture of the wiring before disconnecting the old one so there is no confusion when wiring the new in. (instructions are on the box)

Note: If there would be a need to turn your electricity supply off for other electrical reasons your switch should be located on the main fuse box.

Difficult to find the right connection for the coloured wires. All fitting information is on the outside of the box but unable to figure it out. 3 coloured wires green,brown and blue with corresponding white wire with a colour strip of on each. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.
