Review: Very Impressed - I now own several Einhell power-x tools, all paid for by myself, no freebies or encouragement at all. I already have two 4aH batteries and chargers after buying the Einhell lawnmower, so paying under 50 quid for this was a bargain. Where to start... having used a big heavy petrol strimmer for years, this is a revelation. It's just so handy to load a battery, click a button and get going. The machine is powerful enough to deal with thick, overgrown grass and weeds. I've even gone through some smaller brambles with this. The click-on plastic blades are superb, cutting through the thickest weed growth in my garden easily. The machine has more than enough versatility with how the handle is attached. The mid handle can be rotated, lifted, turned, twisted and then fixed in place. There's a twist lock extension pole that means you can extend it while loosened to get the best length for you, then lock it place. I'm 6'2" tall and found it easy to get a comfortable arrangement to suit me. The head of the machine can also be twisted and adjusted, so you can configure it for normal strimming or twist it for edging flower beds etc. I was a little unsure about the plastic blades and how they'd cope with the overgrown bits of our large garden, but honestly they're superb. I do extend the metal loop 'flower guard', which gives some protection from the blades contacting stones and walls, but overall I'm really impressed with how well they cut through the weeds and grass that I've thrown them into. I'm used to having the usual strimming 'wire' on a spool so using clip on blades seemed a bit strange, but they are very good indeed. They attach and detach easily so they're easy to replace when necessary. No more spending 15 minutes having to un spool meters of cable because it's got stuck in the drum. I use the Einhell 4aH batteries with the strimmer. Probably massive overkill for what I need and for the average gardener, but I got them with the 36v lawnmower which is also superb. Even with these big batteries the machine is still well balanced and not too heavy for extended use. All in all a fantastic buy. I also own this strimmers big brother for the huge bramble clear out jobs, the Einhell Agillo 36v Scythe. Another absolutely superb machine, but definitely overkill for smaller strimming jobs when you just want to click on a battery and instantly get going. I've still got a petrol strimmer, but I can honestly say that I can't imagine ever reaching for it again. It's so convenient and easy to charge a battery and just get on with it. Really impressed with Einhell so far. I now have my eye on the chainsaw and the pole saw for the taller shrubs. Highly recommended. Review: For the price unbeatable - Great nice and cheap, performance is extremely good cuts through brambles which I wasn't expecting comes fully assembled and has telescopic adjustable length I'm 6ft1 also handle is quick release and it's easy to adjust the position it also weighs next to nothing my only gripe is the plastic blades tend to snap or fall off easily but I'm impatient and was rough so I think user error also the guard does come off if you happen to slightly knock it on the ground (I don't use guard cause it annoying) but it did cut through 3years worth of grass 1meter high (don't judge just moved in lol) no problems I used a 4amh battery and it lasted 40sqm of cutting will be getting a petrol einhell mower next as I own a vast array of einhell tools which I use to fit kitchens and bathrooms ## Features - A light and ergonomic power package with the innovative Einhell Power X-Change energy system - Full flexibility in each corner of the garden by telescopic guide beam and adjustable auxiliary handle with soft grip - +/- 90 degree rotatable motor head for precise edge trimming and 5-fold motor head inclination for locations difficult to access at house corners or under hedges and shrubs - 20 plastic knives in the practical storage compartment at the auxiliary handle and sturdy flower guard for the protection of sensitive plants - Supply without battery and battery charger - costs are saved by using batteries of existing devices of the Power X-Change series - For tireless working there is an ergonomically shaped grip area. The height-adjustable long handle can be adjusted to individual requirements. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00HEF4XR0 | | Best Sellers Rank | 12,896 in Garden ( See Top 100 in Garden ) 41 in Grass Trimmers | | Brand | Einhell | | Brand Name | Einhell | | Colour | black/orange | | Country Of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 13,869 Reviews | | Cutting width | 24 Centimeters | | EU Spare Part Availability Duration | 2 Years | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04006825588255 | | Included Components | 20 Plastic Blades, Cordless Grass Trimmer, Instructions | | Is Assembly Required? | Yes | | Is Product Cordless | Yes | | Item Dimensions L x W | 96L x 19W centimetres | | Item Highlight | Cordless Grass Trimmer and Lawn Edger, Includes 20 x Blades, 8,500RPM, Swivelling and Tiltable Motor Head, Flowerguard | | Item Type Name | Power X-Change 18V Cordless Strimmer | Battery Powered Garden Grass And Weed Cutter / Edger, Includes 20 x Blades | Solo Trimmer - Supplied Without Battery And Charger | | Item Weight | 1.8 kg | | Item weight | 1.8 kg | | Manufacturer | Einhell | | Manufacturer Part Number | 4006825588255 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 2 Year Warranty, Additional Year On Product Registration | | Model Number | 3411172 | | Number of Batteries | Lithium Polymer batteries required. | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Pattern | Single | | Power Source | Battery Powered | | Power source | Battery Powered | | Product dimensions | 96L x 19W centimetres | | Recommended Uses For Product | Gardening, Lawn Care, Trimming Grass and Weeds, Edging Lawns, Reaching Hard-to-Access Areas | | Size | 96 x 19 x 11 cm; 2.71 kilogram | | Speed | 8500 RPM | | Style Name | Strimmer Only | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Assembly required:** Yes - **Brand:** Einhell - **Colour:** black/orange - **Cutting width:** 24 Centimeters - **EU Spare Part Availability Duration:** 2 Years - **Item weight:** 1.8 kg - **Number of batteries:** Lithium Polymer batteries required. - **Power source:** Battery Powered - **Product dimensions:** 96L x 19W centimetres - **Speed:** 8500 RPM ## Images ![Einhell Cordless Strimmer 18V PXC, 24cm - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61YqqaR6n9L.jpg) ![Einhell Cordless Strimmer 18V PXC, 24cm - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/810G7-KHRNL.jpg) ![Einhell Cordless Strimmer 18V PXC, 24cm - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71oQt2Ly65L.jpg) ![Einhell Cordless Strimmer 18V PXC, 24cm - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/818gptjn+UL.jpg) ![Einhell Cordless Strimmer 18V PXC, 24cm - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71vflVjaVnL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does this edge the grass as well??** A: Yes you just turn the head round **Q: Would this be strong enough to cut mature nettles** A: It’s surprisingly tough and cuts through nettles. Struggles a bit with dence grass. **Q: What use is a battery powered strimmer that costs double the price to buy the battery and charger for????** A: the same battery fits all the tools that Einhell make so if you already have a battery then no need to by another .they recharge very quickly if you have more than one you wont use the charge up before the other has charged **Q: is there an alternative harder wearing blade as the ones supplied do not cover 6 inches without snapping and needing changed?** A: Yes, these type of blades do need getting used to - especially if you have been using a 'wire' strimmer. They are more fragile and break quite easily.I have not had mine for long, but I find that setting the 'plant guard' carefully, near to the end of the blade, helps to preserve the life.Ultimately, I think that this strimmer will 'eat' quite a few blades though! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Impressed *by B***Y on 10 July 2024* I now own several Einhell power-x tools, all paid for by myself, no freebies or encouragement at all. I've only recently come across the Einhell range due to aquiring a couple of their power tools. Love the fact that all their tools have the interchangeable battery feature meaning one battery for all devices. Be aware-this does NOT come with a battery and you would need to buy separate of you don't have an Einhell/Ozoto system already. Intial thoughts on this was that it felt a bit cheap on the plastic casing front, but maybe I was just comparing it to a much more expensive product. Love the fact that it comes complete with a good amount of spare blades and has a great little storage compartment on the handle (I was always loosing the Bosch blades). First use seems very impressive. A pretty quiet motor and it strimmed through grass and light weeds very easily and is pretty powerful. I imagine the power would depend on the size of battery you use , I have the 18v which works well. The blades are also flexible so unlike the Bosch equivalent that were solid plastic, I imagine they'll last a bit longer after hitting walls/stones etc. Looks to be a good purchase and at good value, especially if you already have the battery and charger. ## Frequently Bought Together - Einhell - GE-CT18LI Lithium Cordless Grass Trimmer Bare Unit - Einhell TE-CS Power X-Change 18-Volt Cordless 6-1/2 Inch 4,200-RPM Circular Saw, w/Adjustable Angle + Depth, Saw Blade Included, LED Lamp, Tool Only (Battery and Charger Not Included) - Einhell Power X-Change TE-CI 18/1 Li Impact Driver w/Variable Speed, Tool Only --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/50569497-einhell-cordless-strimmer-18v-pxc-24cm](https://www.desertcart.at/products/50569497-einhell-cordless-strimmer-18v-pxc-24cm) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
