The added nickel allows polishing to a mirror shine , improves corrosion resistance at high temperatures and adds durability . Fast and Strong Installation In the box, you'll find screws and an Allen key needed for installation. Also, this item comes with pre-applied self-adhesive tape. This trusted and reliable tape offers a consistent bond, outstanding durability and excellent solvent and moisture resistance. How to install properly with self-adhesive option (you can always install with screws as well) 1. Clean the wall and mark the place Before mounting, please make sure you clean the wall with isopropyl alcohol or glass cleaner. Wipe with soft/paper cloth Mark the desired place for mounting with a pencil 2. Warm-up the place and the adhesive sticker Warm-up (you can use a hairdryer) the wall for a minute and then the self-adhesive pad for 15 seconds 3. Peel off the sticker and mount Peel off the back of the sticker and stick it to the wall/door Press firmly all over the mounting disk 4. Wait for 24-48 hours Wait for 24-48 hours before proceeding with mounting the towel rail itself 5. Insert the steel part and tighten the grub screws Insert the steel part into the central holes of the mounting plates and tighten the grub screws. NOTE! T here are two grub screws on every mounting plate, so make sure to tighten both. 6. Push the metal cover Push the metal cover to hide the mounting plate. Done! Review: Good quality fitting praised by independent fitter - I had the benefit of a "handyman" to fit out my bathroom; he commented that he thought the quality of the Kapitan items was excellent and that in particular the way that the fittings were affixed was far better than what he usually sees with bathroom accessories. I am very pleased with the look of the items that I have purchase which include a toilet roll holder, holder for a spare toilet roll, soap dish, and mug/glass with holder. The only issue I have is that on removing the mug from the holder, the protective plastic ring intended to minimise risk of damage to the mug/glass does not stay in place, and comes away with the mug/glass. I bought two of these holders, and the same issue occurs with both; so, have removed the protective plastic and am using this without it.
Review: Good quality - Bought as a replacement for a Bathstore fitting, no longer available. This is just as good at about half the price.

Needed something to replace an old towel unit, this fitted the same holes exactly, and was easy to fit. Looks nice and neat and modern. Reasonable price, given that this is real glass and not a plastic beaker. Only negative thing, the plastic insert in the ring, to protect the glass, kept coming out with the glass. So i added a few small dabs of araldite glue, job done.
