I had seen Ken Johnson on a Christian program and so ordered this book. He refers to the Book of Enoch in here and other ancient writings. He references many texts as to the type of angels there are, their names and has done historical research about cultures etc. I also purchased Enoch but haven't finished it, as yet. This is interesting albeit not scriptural although Johnson references Scripture in this book. However, taken literally, I believe the sons of God do mean angels, although some commentators refused to entertain such thoughts. I enjoyed this book. Not a tough or long read. Of course, now I want to read all the other old texts to which Johnson refers. Trey Smith has a video on YouTube regarding the Nephilim I have found fascinating, as well.6:1 When mankind began to multiply on the earth and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of mankind were beautiful, and they took any they chose as wives[a] for themselves. 3 And the Lord said, “My Spirit will not remain[b] with[c] mankind forever, because they are corrupt.[d] Their days will be 120 years.” 4 The Nephilim[e] were on the earth both in those days and afterward, when the sons of God came to the daughters of mankind, who bore children to them.
