The stand itself is adequate. But I wouldnt concider it strong enough to take out on gigs. **Q: Is this stand compatible with yamaha dtx m12 ?** A: Yes it will. I use it for my Yamaha dtx m12 rhythm pad. It works just perfect and based on the price and value it’s worth. So far I don’t have any issues with it. Only downside is it is not easy as other stands to clamp it on and off. You have to turn it like a screw or like you are tightening a water bottle or something like that lol. Well I have used the regular pro type mounts as well so comparing to those…. That’s the only part I hv issue with but for what I paid I cannot complain l. But it’s not that hard either. And one more thing the screws comes with it is little longer. You hv to buy 1/2 inch (if I’m right) screws from local home depot or Lowes . Also we can bring forward or backward the top hinge where the base plate sits which helps in adjusting the drum pad to the desired position. Nice black and yellow color combination. Its very transportable since we can collapse the stand. A very good cost effective product. Its built solid but need to handle carefully.
