Free delivery and returns on eligible orders. Review: Nu-X Voodoo Vibe - Nice piece of kit. Both the vibe (think the sound of the Lesley Organs with rotating speakers) and the chorus work well, and blend in with other sounds. Smooth on/off operation with no clicks or pops. Review: Good Approximation of the Classic Leslie Speaker Sound - Fifty years ago (where does the time go?), I saw the great singer songwriter Nils Lofgren in concert at Newcastle City Hall. Apart from incorporating a mini trampoline into his act, he also played guitar utilising a Leslie Cabinet. The Leslie was most synonymous with being paired with a Hammond organ - the speaker rotated, and added an interesting sonic texture. With guitar, it made Lofgren's guitar harmonics really chime, and also added a sound like crushed ice lollies. It was a real treat for the ears. This Nu-x nano pedal does a good job of replicating the Leslie sound, at a fraction of the price of the Real Thing. With three simple controls - speed, volume and intensity - you can dial in the Leslie sound to taste. There's also a small push button that swaps the Leslie sound for a Chorus type effect (the LED on the pedal changes colour from red to blue) - a useful sonic addition. My only criticism of the pedal - and a minor one at that- is that the control knobs, being small, mean that you can easily turn them too far in seeking the sound you're after. I own twelve Nu-x guitar pedals, and they share a commonality in that they are well-made, offer distinctive and high quality sounds, and are relatively inexpensive, but durable. This pedal would be a fine, space-saving addition to any guitarists range of effects. Buy with confidence- highly recommended. ## Features - electable Vibe or Chorus modes - Buffered or true bypass selectable - Strong and lightweight aluminium die-cast chassis - USB-C port for future firmware updates - Requires 9V center negative DC Power Supply 100mA current draw (Not Supplied) ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BSFYRNND | | Amperage | 100 Milliamps | | Audio Output Effects | Chorus, Vibe | | Best Sellers Rank | 28,798 in Musical Instruments & DJ ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments & DJ ) 20 in Guitar Chorus Effects | | Brand | NUX | | Brand Name | NUX | | Colour | Red | | Connector Type | USB-C | | Controls Type | Footswitch | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 14 Reviews | | Hardware Interface | USB Type C | | Item Type Name | NU-X | Voodoo Vibe Mini Effect Pedal | | Item Weight | 175 Grams | | Item weight | 175 Grams | | Manufacturer | AVSL Group Ltd | | Manufacturer Part Number | MNU VOODOO-UNIVIBE | | Model Name | VOODOO-UNIVIBE | | Model Number | MNU VOODOO-UNIVIBE | | Number of Items | 1 | | Power Source | Adaptor | | Product Warranty | Na. | | Signal Format | Analog | | Style | Classic | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Voltage | 9 Volts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** NUX - **Style:** Classic - **Colour:** Red - **Item weight:** 175 Grams - **Voltage:** 9 Volts ## Images ![NU-X | Voodoo Vibe Mini Effect Pedal - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51Z9VxDfjqL.jpg) ![NU-X | Voodoo Vibe Mini Effect Pedal - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51SEbgXk7iL.jpg) ![NU-X | Voodoo Vibe Mini Effect Pedal - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51phRdVOoxL.jpg) ![NU-X | Voodoo Vibe Mini Effect Pedal - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51lFPR8Rt2L.jpg) ![NU-X | Voodoo Vibe Mini Effect Pedal - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51rmBD4t+BL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nu-X Voodoo Vibe *by R***T on 26 November 2024* Nice piece of kit.
