So far I have used it on at least 5 different vehicles, all of different makes and manufacturers, and it's done a great job getting into and reading PIDs. I haven't really used the reset functions since there hasn't been a need as of yet, but customer service and tech support is awesome, and I'm sure they will address any problems with those features should they come up in the future. As far as I can tell, there really aren't any bi-directional controls other than the 6 special reset functions and perhaps evap testing, but it's not advertised to be. For the price point, this is a great scan tool for the amount of information it is able to access and display. It's an added bonus that it's also basically an Android tablet with a touchscreen and can also be used as such! Small gripes: 1. Feels and sounds hollow on the back side. So small taps resonate through. That said, it still feels pretty sturdy and well constructed. 2. For the overall size of the unit, the usable screen size is somewhat undersized. Could probably stand to shave 0.5"-0.75" off each side. Also, the screen size limits you to only 4 PIDs on screen at one time. Would be great if you could rotate the screen to get more data displayed at once. Despite the 2 small gripes, this is a great value, and will get used anytime I don't need bi-directional functionality.
