Review: Really good kettle, quiet, quick and feels premium. - We had an old Bosch kettle that broke down after 5 years, so we needed a replacement. When I was looking around, I wanted something that has similar features as our broken one, like temperature control and double-walled design so it keeps the water warmer for longer and not hot to touch. This Bosch Sky was the first one I saw. While a little more expensive than others, we prefer reliability and build quality after seeing some other lower cost alternatives failed in various degree (sometimes dangerous), while trying not to be a brand snob but a known brand means, better warranty coverage. Overall, it's a kettle but this model does boil water much quicker than our previous model, also quieter too. The filling cap is spring loaded so it's easy to fill to. If I have to moan about something, it has to be the colour choice, only white or black, I would like to see other colours too. Overall, a nice kettle that justifies the price.

**Q: Is this better than the styline kettle?**
A: Yes it’s more modern and very efficient. Also the lid is easier to open and the lighting is very stylish.

**Q: Is there space and the facility to coil any excess power cable under the kettle base/stand?**
A: Yes, there is a circular space to wind the cable under the stand. But the lead is fairly short anyway.

**Q: Difficult to tell from the picture, is it easy to see the water level? Does the water level panel light up? Is it easy to see the water level?**
A: The water level is directly under the handle which is inconvenient. I don't think the panel lights up.
Otherwise a brilliant kettle. I am very pleased and the option of different temperatures for different infusions and ground coffee is a revelation

**Q: How many temperature settings? Seen advertised as 7 elsewhere but looks like 4 on Amazon?**
A: It shows the 4 temperatures of 70 80 90 & 100 each of which can be selected but also the 5 degree increments between them can also be selected and so has the 7 settings.
It gives a single bleep when it has reached the selected temp. A very nice kettle and I would thoroughly recommend it.

I absolutely love this kettle. I did have to return the first one as it was broken, but Amazon quickly sent a new one out! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Almost perfect kettle!`

Who knew it was possible to love a *kettle* SO MUCH!!!! I rave about this kettle to anyone who cares to listen! I am probably the fussiest kettle buyer going - there is always something I don't like - but I've had this beauty for a year now and couldn't be happier. I love the look of it, the spout (very important) and the temperature gauge - and Keep Warm feature which I didn't think I would use but I use it all the time! The Keep Warm Feature is perfect for cooking. I have boiling water at the ready all the time for pouring into saucepans for cooking (incidentally, the spout is a perfect pourer, water comes out at a steady rate without splashing or spilling and doesn't just drizzle like some "cutesy" kettles, the ones where you take the lid off to fill up). Filling is simple with the flip up lid too. I also use Keep Warm when I fancy a cuppa, flick the kettle on, go off and do something, come back and water is ready. Expecting a visitor? Flick it on and cuppa ready when they arrive! Heating to a certain temperature is something I rarely use (although handy for a hot water bottle when you don't want it quite boiling!) but expert coffee drinkers might appreciate this feature. I love the fact that it gives a cute little beep when it reaches the desired temperature too! Downsides - it's a bit more noisy than I would like but I can live with that due to the other features. And - a downside for me not reading the instructions probably - when you use the Keep Warm feature, just flick it again to bring it back to temperature! I wasn't doing that to begin with as I stupidly thought it would remain at the set temperature but of course it doesn't, it will just keep bringing it back to temperature every couple of minutes. It literally takes a second to bring back to temp but if you don't do that, you may have tea made with non-boiling water (if you catch it just before it brings back to temp again). Overall, this is the best kettle I've ever owned and just hope it is never discontinued when I need to replace in years to come!
