A: The iD24 features a powerful headphone amp that can drive headphones at a good volume all the way up to 600 ohms!

**Q: Can I use my outboard gear with the iD24?**
A: The iD24 features two insert channels for use with outboard gear, use them as full sends with the iD preamp, or use just the returns to bypass the preamps and use the high-quality A-D. However you use your outboard, the iD24 has it covered.

**Q: Can you Bypass the preamps on the iD24?**
A: Using the insert returns, it’s possible to bypass the built-in pre-amps and feed audio directly into the ADCs, giving you a super clean signal path if you wish to use for own external pre-amps.

**Q: Do I have to use a mic preamp to be able to use the talkback feature?**
A: We've got you covered! iD24’s dedicated talkback technology enables you to use any audio source connected to your computer such as a built-in or USB microphone as your talkback mic, freeing up valuable mic pres for recording.

Hoge kwaliteit microfoon voorversterers en veel mogelijkheden. De insert-aansluitingen (in/out) zijn een groot pluspunt. Buiten de 'chains' van effect apparatuur kun je bijvoorbeeld externe microfoonvoorversterkers rechtstreeks op de insert-returns aansluiten, zonder dat het signaal wordt gekleurd of opnieuw wordt versterkt door de interne preamps. Wat verdere uitbreidbaarheid betreft biedt de Audient ID24 interface vrijwel alles wat je maar kunt wensen. De aanwezigheid van een wordclock-uitgang is een groot voordeel, omdat je de interface eenvoudig als masterklok kunt instellen en externe apparatuur daarop kunt laten synchroniseren. De mixer software kan standalone gebruikt worden en werkt goed samen met mijn Ableton software. Al met al vind ik dit een top product die mijn verwachtingen overtroffen heeft.
