Review: poor quality plastic toy - Very disappointing product. It is extremely difficult to use, poorly designed, and does not perform as advertised. The magnet is weak and fails to hold the guide securely in place, making the sharpening process frustrating and inconsistent. The bubble level is virtually useless. If you rely on it to set the sharpening angle, you are unlikely to achieve an accurate or repeatable result. As a consequence, there is a real risk of damaging the edge of a quality knife. If you own expensive Japanese knives, I strongly recommend avoiding this product. The lack of precision and poor build quality make it unsuitable for sharpening high-end blades. In my view, it feels more like a cheap plastic toy than a serious sharpening tool. I will be requesting a refund. My only concern is that the item was shipped internationally, so I am unsure how straightforward the return process will be
Review: Perfect for beginners or pro’s - Thank you thank you thank you SHARPAL, i’ve used Whetstones, Rollers, Lansky systems and none of them worked anywhere near as good as this diamond block. Very easy to use a there’s no water and in turn no mess!!! I went for the bigger size as it gave me more room for the knife, the quality is top tier and the magnetic angle guide is really helpful for beginners. I was pleasantly surprised by the price too because the Lansky system was nearly double what i paid for this. All in all a perfect sharpener for a beginner or seasoned pro. I also recommend the double sided leather strop, really finishes the blade off.

**Q: Help is this item made of plastic, aluminum or metal?**
A: I was expecting a metal product but it is made from a polymer not un-like power tools.

**Q: What are wheels for?**
A: Nothing as far as I can tell… I think they were just trying to make it look like a trebuchet. I will say that this item has worked well for me and I’ve gotten much sharper edges on my knives.

**Q: Can't see what wheels are for?**
A: they arent wheels, they just look like it in the pics. They are the points that the 2 measurement things pivot in

**Q: Does it work on stainless steel, like 440C?**
A: This little video shows a Morkniv Kansbol Stainless and a Buck 110 drop point in their 420HC. Hope this answers your needs.

Ottimo per affilare i coltelli sulle pietre. Si riesce ad usare anche su coltelli sottili facendo un po' di attenzione perché tende a staccarsi con movimenti bruschi. Sulle lame più larghe non c'è alcun problema.
