The reader works consistently and lasts me for a whole day out busking without having to recharge. I've had no use of device so am returning. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to get set up (just allow some time for account set up!). *by P***L on 19 March 2025* I have acquired this square card reader for use by a non-profit organization to finally enable us to take card payments at our fundraising events. As part of this we needed to set up a square account, it was simple enough however it took some time (about a week) for all details to be checked, validated and all set up, so do bear that in mind if you are aiming to get set up with this for an event. Having got our account set up and app downloaded it was very simple to connect the reader to the app and take a payment. One nice feature is you can have the app installed and logged in on multiple phones and the reader can connect to each of those devices, so if there are a few of you working on a stall in shifts you can move the reader between phones without needing to give someone else your phone, again ideal for non-profits. Payments went through smoothly and deposited in our bank account without issue.
