Measuring 50 inches wide, it supports up to 22 lb of laundry on eight foldable rails. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, it features a smooth pulley system for easy vertical adjustment up to 71 inches, making it perfect for high ceilings and tight spaces. Easy to install and built with premium Italian quality, it transforms laundry day into a streamlined, efficient experience. ## Description Can I install Foxydry Mini on a 3-meter-high ceiling? Yes, you can. Foxydry Mini can lower up to 1.80 m from the ceiling. With a 3 m ceiling, the rack will stay approximately 1.20 m above the floor, which is still comfortable for hanging your laundry. Can I install Foxydry Mini on a sloped or angled ceiling? Yes, installation on a sloped ceiling is possible. You’ll just need to adjust the cords during installation to keep the drying rack perfectly level. This ensures smooth operation and even weight distribution. Can I install it on a plasterboard ceiling? Foxydry Mini must be secured to a solid structure such as concrete, brick, or a wooden beam. Plasterboard alone cannot safely support the total weight of around 15 kg (including laundry). Can I make the cords longer? No — the cords are already at the maximum safe length. Extending or replacing them would affect the product’s balance and safety. For very high ceilings, consider an alternative Foxydry model, such as our wall-mounted systems. Is Foxydry Mini suitable for outdoor use? Yes. It’s made from aluminum and steel, materials that resist rust, humidity, and water exposure. You can install it indoors or outdoors — in your laundry room, bathroom, balcony, or terrace — without worries. It keeps coming out of its runner and you then have to put it back I think this is a design fault. They have excellent customer services who tried to explain what was going wrong. In the end my son fixed it and showed us how to fix it and now it works brilliantly.I would recommend it but be aware if you allow washing to be put on unevenly the cord may come loose. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Keeps washing tidy *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 18 November 2021* Really sturdy and fairly easy to install by someone who knows how to use basic tools. Have put in utility room and now don’t need a tumble dryer, which is much better for the environment. Washing is up high so not taking up floor space. Because it’s high it dries quicker than floor standing airer. The contraption is well made and is easy to raise and lower. Mechanism is really efficient and well made. This item is not cheap but is good value for money. You get what you pay for. I bought the smaller version and it is big. Make sure you measure your space before buying. I nearly bought the big one, which would’ve been too big. Super product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent little gadget *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 7 November 2016* Excellent, brilliant for saving space in the utility room. Would be 5 stars if it was a little easier to assemble. ## Frequently Bought Together - foxydry Mini, Ceiling Mounted Pulley Clothes Airer, Clothes Drying Rack, Vertical Folding Laundry Drying Rack in aluminium and steel 50.40x21.26x9.84 IN (Grey, 128 cm) - Balcony Foldable Clothes Drying Rack, Outdoor Laundry Rack for Terraces, Balconies, and Railings in Stainless Steel and Aluminum - Length 118 cm - Vinabo Silicone Squeegee Shower Cleaner with Hook, Black Shower Scraper for Bathroom, Kitchen, Car, Window and Glass Cleaning --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/51818192-foxydry-mini-folding-ceiling-clothes-airer-pulley-pull-down-50](https://www.desertcart.at/products/51818192-foxydry-mini-folding-ceiling-clothes-airer-pulley-pull-down-50) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
