Technical Information Review: Good product - Brought this for utility room as the wife was fed up with fighting Google lights to turn on it works really well you can set it to how long you want it to stay on Review: Not for damp environments - I would not recommend for a bathroom environment, I probably cannot fault the sensor too much, it worked great for 12 months, but started to stay on because the contacts stuck together, the only way to turn of was to give it a few sharp hits with my long shoe horn. Its now replaced by a different model, I may try to use this in a non damp environment. Also beware to fit this you need to provide an extra cable from the light fittings location so the unit can have its own permanent live power source separate to the light and then provide power to the light with its live and neutral via the switch, you may need an electrician if you cannot work out the logic for wiring this, it is simple once you work it out. I rigged one of these in the kitchen, it worked ok coming on as someone enters the kitchen. However, if you exceed the time you've set the delay for, the light goes out for about a second before re-setting and coming back on again. This may not sound very long, but if you are handling boiling water, hot fat or using a sharp knife, it could be very dangerous. **Q: What’s the yellow wire for?
