I purchased it because I needed a smaller bag to carry on the train for my daily commute. This is definitely a step down from the Boa Flow XL but it doesn't mean it's any less of a performer. The quality is as expected from Booq backpacks, seams are sturdy/strong, and the zippers are smooth. Inside the laptop compartment you will find a soft velvety cushion which will project your laptop. The side compartments can hold your thinner sports bottle or drink but expect to close it. I don't personally use it to carry water or sports bottles. I knew this going in and it wasn't a big deal to me. The strap have cushioning and can be comfortably adjusted, I'm not a thin man so I was quite surprised and relieved when the bag adjusted to fit my needs.The one gripe I do have with this bag is the white colored pockets interior of the center compartment. So far, I have been happy with it. There enough pockets for me to store the necessary items I use like adapters and headphones. I like the padding on the back of the bag and on the straps. It feels very comfortable. The side pockets are nice. Easy access. Just be aware, this is not a huge bag. I am able to put my Macbook , ipad mini, cables and what not. It filled up real quick. It fits my tastes but it may be small for other people. So far, I have no issues with my bag.
