The module integrates a serial interface, which can be connected and interacted with various controllers such as STM32, Raspberry Pico, Arduino, Micro:bit and other hardware devices and platforms. Review: Self Contained Visual Recognition Module - I bought this because it's the first fully self contained module for experimenting with machine vision that I've seen. It works great, the screen is good quality, as is the camera. No problems using it as is, but it also has plenty of IO to interface with expansion boards and various controllers. Programming is in MicroPython so really simple if you already have experience with Python. The training materials provided by Yahboom are always good and help you to learn through examples of functional code for the module. The firmware even has the AI vision algorithm module included so you can get started with AI visual recognition right away. It amazing how this simple module lowers the bar to getting into and learning advanced computer intelligence programming. Highly recommended. I've really been having fun with it.
